Egg is a healthy meal

Eating egg white and yolk together in a full egg provides a suitable balance of protein, fat, and calorie. This combination allows most individuals to feel greater satiety and satisfaction after eating eggs. In particular, if eggs are consumed with bread, they can be considered as a delicious meal with good nutritional properties.

Very nutritious and delicious foods can be prepared with egg

Eggs are used in the recipe of some sauces such as Mayonnaise or different types of salad sauce. They can also be used in preparation of tomato omelet, mushroom omelet, as well as various types of omelet with vegetable and cutlet.

Eggs can also be used for preparing delicious desserts such as different types of cake, sweets, and biscuits.

The nutrients and proteins available in eggs can be effective in the following cases:

  • Lower risk of digestive disorders: this advantage may be due to egg yolk proteins such as phosvitin, which may reduce the number of compounds that cause inflammation.
  • Immune-boosting properties: Special compounds called sulfated glycopeptides exist in the egg yolk membrane. These may stimulate production of macrophages, cells in the immune system which protect the body against pathogens and infection.
  • Reducing blood pressure: Egg yolk contains several compounds called peptide, which has been scientifically shown to considerably lower the blood pressure in rats. Hypertension is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

The egg yolk contains at least seven essential minerals:

  1. Calcium
  2. Iron
  3. Magnesium
  4. Phosphorus
  5. Potassium
  6. Sodium
  7. Zinc

  3. Niacin
  4. Vitamin B-6
  5. Vitamin  B-12
